Missing bounds checks in the Odin compress component allow an out-of-bounds write and memory corruption
An attacker can craft a malicious compressed stream, such as a truncated DEFLATE stream or a patterned zero-byte stream, so that zlib.inflate or gzip.load keeps writing after the internal buffer has grown to the COMPRESS_OUTPUT_ALLOCATE_MAX limit. grow_buffer does not return an error when that limit is reached, and lower-level writes such as write_byte skip further length checks and have bounds checking disabled, so data is written past the heap block. The resulting heap buffer overflow can cause denial of service, arbitrary code execution, or disclosure of sensitive information.
Component
Odin is a systems programming language and its standard-library collection. The core/compress module provides efficient streaming and buffered compression and decompression for applications. It handles variable-length input and output streams through dynamic memory management, aiming for high-performance Zlib and Gzip compatibility while keeping conversion overhead low in resource-constrained environments.
Add a strict ceiling check to buffer growth so that reaching the preset maximum returns an error immediately instead of failing silently; re-validate remaining space before every low-level write and abort with an error when space is insufficient; also remove the critical #no_bounds_check compiler directive so the default runtime safety checks stay enabled.

Out-of-bounds read in the php-src pdo_pgsql driver when a prepared statement's column count changes crashes the service
When PDO::ATTR_EMULATE_PREPARES is enabled, if a prepared statement returns more columns on the second execution than on the first, the internal arrays S->cols and stmt->columns keep their initial allocation and an index is read out of bounds. An attacker can concurrently run ALTER TABLE to add columns or switch views to change the result-set shape, causing zend_symtable_update to use a dangling pointer. The heap buffer overflow can crash the process or leak information and seriously affects availability.
Component
php-src is the source repository of the PHP language. The pdo_pgsql extension is a core data-access component that implements standardized connections and interaction between PHP applications and PostgreSQL. Its object-oriented design provides efficient prepared-statement execution, parameter binding, and result-set parsing so large concurrent database queries stay safe and stable in complex business logic. It is a key persistence-layer dependency for enterprise web backends.
Disable emulated prepares so native driver protections apply, or strictly validate result-set metadata that can change dynamically, reallocating and checking the size and memory bounds of the column-descriptor array before every execution.

Unauthenticated SQL injection in DJ-Classifieds enables remote code execution
Before DJ-Classifieds 3.11.3, the front-end search feature lacks input validation and has an unauthenticated SQL injection flaw (CWE-89). An attacker can craft a malicious search request and directly manipulate backend database queries, leaking sensitive data or taking full control of the database. The Joomla extension has a serious logic flaw at the search interface that an unauthenticated attacker can trigger remotely, breaking data integrity and potentially taking over the system. Every DJ-Classifieds user who has not updated to 3.11.3 is affected, including every Joomla site that deploys the extension. A crafted HTTP request is enough to exploit it, with no user interaction and with remote control.
Component
DJ-Classifieds is a popular Joomla classifieds extension that lets site administrators create and manage online classified listings, with front-end search, posting, and management.
Risks
From ordinary user to administrator: If database privileges are misconfigured, an attacker may change the administrator password or escalate privileges through SQL injection
Complete system control: Attackers can read, modify, or delete sensitive information in the database (such as user credentials and transaction records) and may run operating-system commands through certain database functions
No-user-interaction attack: Automated scanning and attack scripts can hit the site search interface directly, without luring the user to click any link
Upgrade the DJ-Classifieds extension to 3.11.3 or later immediately
Configure web application firewall (WAF) rules to block search requests that contain SQL-injection patterns
Rate-limit the front-end search interface and monitor abnormal database query logs

Hard-coded JWT key in ape-volo-admin bypasses authentication and grants full API control
Before ape-volo-admin 3.6.1, the authentication module is misconfigured and uses a default cryptographic key (CWE-1394). A JWT signing key hard-coded in appsettings.json lets an unauthenticated attacker forge an administrator token offline. By setting the jti claim to the seed administrator ID and signing the token, the attacker gains full API control over users, roles, permissions, and data. Every ape-volo-admin user who has not updated to 3.6.1 is affected. No user interaction is required; the flaw can be exploited remotely to obtain the highest privileges on the system.
Component
ape-volo-admin is an administration backend that authenticates with JWT and manages users, roles, permissions, and data.
Risks
From ordinary user to administrator: Attackers need no initial credentials and obtain administrator privileges by forging a token
Complete system control: Attackers can fully control the API, including viewing, modifying, or deleting all user data, role configuration, and system permissions
No-user-interaction attack: Attackers can send a malicious request over the network and trigger the flaw with no click or interaction from the target user
Upgrade ape-volo-admin to 3.6.1 or later immediately
Remove the hard-coded JWT key from appsettings.json and use an environment variable or a key-management service
Monitor API access logs for abnormal token signatures or high-frequency administrator actions
